Considered as the first erotic space heroine of comic history, this voluptous girl of blonde hair was created in 1962 by Jean-Claude Forest.

Barbarella travelled to different planets from outer space scantily dressed with sexy clothes and her adventures always involved good sex. She liked to seduce almost any creature and didn't care very much about its origin.

In 1968 Roger Vadim directed "Barbarella" a film based on the comic character and played by Jane Fonda which had an important artistic repercussion.
