Hajime Sorayama

This great artist was born in 1947 in Imabari City, Japan.

He studied in Tokyo at the Chuo Art School and after being graduated he worked as an illustrator in an advertising firm. But early he decided to work alone as a freelance illustrator and left the company.

He became famous moreover in 80´s decade because of his "Sexyrobots", a pin-up´s series of steel body with perfect feminine forms. He also has another pin-up´s famous catalogues in which he shapes his particular futurist vision.

All his paintings exude provoking sensuality and these are so real that you believe you almost can touch them.

Because his profound effects Sorayama is deemed as the most important erotic illustrator of the 20th century.
