Since she was young Jennie was a very beautiful girl and had a lovely smile. Early she worked as a chorus dancer and after that she tried her luck making herself known as a main artist in stages by her own risk.
Jennie knew how to make her big breasts famous in her stiptease shows spinning her small pasties faster and faster following the music rhythm. Since then she was known as "The Bazoom Girl".
She had such a success that she became the main inspiration for the duet Jan & Dean and their song "Jennie Lee" which became a hit.
Moreover she was also one of the founders and the president of "The Exotic Dancers League of North America" or EDL which fought in a first moment to improve the pay rate and the working conditions for burlesque dancers.
She also inaugurated "The Burlesque Hall of Fame" a museum in which they were shown some photos and some clothings that dancers used to feature her striptease shows.
When Jennie died in 1990 because of a cancer the burlesque artist Dixie Evans took charge of this museum.
